ENGLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE
Our purpose was to provide English conversation instruction to students at
the Second Municipal School of Nongbua. In light of the economic concerns
of Thailand, the following research questions were posed: (1) To what
degree do Thai students retain vocabulary as a result of twenty-four hours
of instruction? (2) What effect would instruction by native English speakers
have on the students’ perceptions of the quality of the learning experience
