When my father first told our family he was thinking of moving his dental practice, I didn't believe he was serious. We were going to leave our apartment in the city-the oniy home I'd ever know-and travel to a small rural town When heard the news,my brother Taylor just shouted," I hate countey life" I agreed with him,but then I told myself that a change might be fun.
Now, I'm really having trouble adjusting to country life. Sometimes I can't stand being here. There is nothing hoppening! Back in the city, it used to be noisy, and the street were always filled with traffic. The air was polluted, but we just accepted the smells. Here the roads are always empty The air is claen, which is better for a person's health I guess, but everyone seem to be in bed by nine o'clock. The people here ares friendly, but friendly, but I can't used to the slow pace. In the city,I used to hang out with my friends untiil late in the evening. Sometimes I dream of being with them again! My parents and my brother are adjusting to life in the country. Taylor is getting used to attending his new school, and yesterday he told me he ccan't wait to see his friend here each day.
