These results are similar in that the a-tocopherol and c-tocotrienol content of rough rice slightly increased after germination (Kim et al., 2012). In addition, thechanges in the vitamin E profiles after HPT of BG and AG revealed that all vitamin E isomers, except for b-T3, c-T, d-T, and d-T3,
followed similar trends as that of the total vitamin E content. In other words, the total vitamin E, a-T, a-T3, b-T, and c-T3 contents increased gradually up to 30 MPa, above which they declined slightly. The highest a-T (1.56 mg/100 g), a-T3 (1.00 mg/100 g), b-T (0.06 mg/100 g), and c-T3 contents (1.43 mg/100 g) were observed after treatment of AG at 30 MPa.
