Removing the mold and porogenIn order to attain a porous scaffold structure and leach out thefructose particles from the final scaffold, the sample was taken out ofthe freeze dryer and placed in double distilled water for 48 h. Tocompletely evaporate the water inside the resulted scaffold, it was located in a vacuum oven for 24 h. The names together with the compositions of the fabricated scaffolds are presented in Table 1. Also,Fig. 2 shows the overall process of the scaffold fabrication.
