15.4 Protection from cleaning water
[Basic requirements]
Equipment (including office equipment) which has the possibility of being cleaned using cleaning
water shall be constructed in such a way to prevent current-carrying parts from being exposed to
the water or pose no hazards even if the parts are exposed to the water, in order to prevent smoke
emission, ignition and fire hazards.
Note: The term "cleaning water" refers to sprayed cleaning water, hose water, high-pressure
cleaning water, high-temperature steam, etc.

[Criteria]
Compliance is determined by visual inspection and by testing.
