Three different olive pit powders (called A, B and C from the finest to
the coarsest) are produced using different milling conditions. For milled
olive pit A, a sample of olive pits was firstly grinded with a coffee electric
grinder for 10 min in order to reduce the volume of the soft material.
This was followed by a second milling in agate bowl with agate balls
(2 mm diameter), at 600 rpm torque motor speed for 30 min with cycles
10 min milling and 1 min pausing in a Planetary Mono Mill
pulverisette 6 (Fritsch).
