bovine abortion has been reported since 1996[41,42]. One
of the most effective ideas of preventing and controlling
neosporosis would be by vaccination; nonetheless
developing an effective vaccine presents numerous
challenges. An effective vaccine against N. caninum should
protect in an opposite position fetal loss and prohibit vertical
transmission. Serological discrimination intermediate to
vaccinated and infected animals would need to be available
for infection control[
