The novelty of this article is that it presents the approach
Thailand is currently applying to sustainably tackle coastal erosion.
It describes the story from the beginning to the end, starting from
an investigation of erosion causes to a final design of coastal
structures. Moreover, this article fills the gap in the literature since
there are very few published coastal management studies for
Thailand and none of them focuses specifically on the practical
