The application of such conventional energy sources as petroleum, coals and natural gas are less and less, and meanwhile, these energy sources will pollute and destroy the environment during the application. Whereas, the rapid development of world economy needs lots of energy sources as the support and guarantee, which requires developing new energy sources to meet the demand. The solar energy exactly meets the basic requirement. Drying is the indispensable operation chain in production of agricultural products, and also the process of maximum energy consumption. According to incomplete statistics, the energy consumption of the only item of grain drying in China almost occupies 2.4% nationwide total energy consumption if the conventional energy sources are adopted. With the continuous expansion of drying field, the energy consumption in the drying field grows, and the accompanying problems are shortage of energy sources, air pollution, catastrophic destruction to ecological environment, high frequency of various abnormal climates, etc. However, the solar drying agricultural products will effectively reduce these risks and damages, moreover, the product quality through the solar drying is better than the conventional drying, meeting modern people’s requirements for safety, environmental protection and no pollution, and the production cost is low.
