Participants slept on average 4.84 ± 1.59 hr/night (range = 1–8.5). Most mothers frequently awoke from
10 p.m. to 6 a.m., with 40.1% (n = 131) awaking more than four times. The postpartum women’s mean PSQI
score was 9.53 (SD = 3.32, range = 1–16). Only 12.2% (n = 40) of participants reported good sleep quality
(PSQI < 5). Participants’ mean habitual sleep efficiency was 65.35% (SD = 19.75), indicating poor sleep efficiency
(< 85%).
