I got official reply from WO regarding to my previous mail about packing as follow. Please confirm if you can accept or advice your idea by return.
1. Each bundle will have only top/bottom protection board. Regarding to protection board, please do not use 9 mm. Please see photo show how it easy to damaged during unload and transport in warehouse. WO suggest as you to use either PB or rejected MFC as follow
a. For Top Protection board
i. 8 mm MFC→top use protection board 15mm
ii. 15 mm MFC→top use protection board 15mm
iii. 18 mm MFC→top use protection board 18mm
b. For bottom Protection board
i. For All thickness use protection board 18mm
Of course you may use top/bottom at same thickness (t18) if you can.
2. To use all steel belt and PET is allow in following way
• Each bundle, on 4' or 6' side, will be tight up with 3-5 bands of PET. Never use side protection board especially with nail unless no choice (vertical packing) but avoid to use nail.
• Each bundle, on 8' side, will be tight up with 3 bands of steel belt.
To tight steel belt with settable tool if possible but if not, please tight as tight as you can. (In case of Pfleiderer they adjust strength to just damage the protection board but never damage products)
3. First roll bundles will be put against inner container wall.
4. The lowest bundles will put directly on the container floor
5. Skid (t15x120 mm) 3 pcs will be put freely on top of the lower bundles along the 8' side. The skid must be little shorter than board (not same length)
6. Fill up space between bundles and container wall with air bags
7. Protect last bundles with 2 of w40-50 mm belt crossing.
8. Recommend not to use plastic warping to prevent water condensation in some season. By theory, if your board MC is about 6-7 it will not absorb much MC in the air that will cause warping. But if your board MC is lower (after seasoning) that is problem.
