Want the experience of scuba diving without the hassle of getting certified? Snuba might be the sport for you. Snuba, which is a combination of "snorkel" and "scuba," gives people the chance to dive down to 20 feet below the surface while connected to a hose that pumps oxygen into their mask. And while the experience closely mimics that of scuba diving, there's no heavy air tank for the diver to carry, just a small raft that's tethered to and towed by the diver, reported the Seattle Times. Participants are given a brief 20-minute training before jumping into the water, and it's safe enough that even children as young as eight can try it.
