Fig. 2, where the results of a process in which the user made a secuence
of saccadic movements from ±10 to ±40 in horizontal derivation
(shift) are shown. Firstly, the derivative is calculated to
determinate when a sudden movement was made in the eye gaze.
This variation can be easily translated to angles considering a linear
model. Results obtained demonstrated that model obtained
an error less than 2 in saccades in tests carried out during more
than a working hour (Barea, 2001). These results were more accuracy
as much as better were the process of initial calibration of the
system that should adapt to each user.
