Conclusion
In conclusion, we have shown how the concept of matter wave
interference is manifested in the collisional dynamics of two bright
solitons for suitable choices of scattering length γ (t) and trap frequency
M(t). We also observe that the phase difference between
the condensates oscillates with time giving a measure of the coherence
of the condensates. We believe that the occurrence of
matter wave interference in the intra-trap collision of bright solitons
in certain parametric domains is a new phenomenon which
may stimulate a lot of interest in the field of atomic interferometry
and atom laser. The tailor made nature of this model arising
from the nonuniqueness of the solution of Eq. (12) is also brought
out.
