The scale consists of 26 items scored on a four-point
scale, according to the question: ‘‘To what extent are each
of the following statements characteristic of this caregiver?’’
(1 = Not at all, 2 = Somewhat, 3 = Quite a bit,
4 = Very much). The scale is subdivided into four subscales:
Positive Interaction (10 items) concerning the
warmth of the caregiver’s interaction with children, the
nature and the quality of his/her communication with them,
and his/her enthusiasm and involvement with children;
