the effects on the absolute and relative quantity of ARGs were different
Although the volumetric amount of ARGs was actually
decreased after treatment, the normalized level of a few ARGs
remained higher. Because the 16S rRNA gene copies in bacteria may be

of bacteria communitymay have differed along the water treatment
process. Overall, the WWTP at the studied farms were effective in reducing
ARGs in wastewater.
