He laughs as he tries to dodge (but fails) before he gets up and pulls out his wallet. “My treat. Auntie, check please.” He mutters the first part to me softly before he raises a finger to get the owner’s attention. I stand up too, then I follow him outside.
Seeing his broad back in front of me makes me want to say something too.
“I’m…sorry too. I didn’t mean to hurt your feelings.”
That wide grin from Phun is what I wanted the most. I smile back at him before he reaches his arm over my shoulders so we can walk together.
