Total K in melon fruits when applied NPKP in rates 150 and 100% RR showed significant difference compared with the others fertilization treatments. The NPKF treatment do not displays significant difference compared with the control with earthworm compound (20 t ha−1)not enriched in N by diazo trophic bacteria. The NPKB and NPKP showed the best results in the nutrient status of melon fruits, especially when applied in highest rate (12 t ha−1). The results for total S-SO4 −2 generally were similar to Total K, with best results when applied NPKB and NPKP in highest rates that are signifi- cantly different to application of soluble fertilizer and to the control treatment (earthworm compound—20 t ha−1) not enriched in N by inoculation with diazo trophic bacteria.
