1. From our reviewed, the tax reconciliation of the true up tax expense that you filled in the amount of 500 KB, we found that it is the netting amount of true up balance of CIT of -2.9 MB and DTA 3.4 MB. Please revised the tax expense reconciliation as discussed.
2. In sheet "DTA template", we found that there are some wrong grouping that the lease transaction both leasee and leasor were grouped into "Net unrealised gains (losses) on Available-for-sale" and "Net unrealised gains (losses) on cash flow hedges". Please kindly revised the grouping by opening new categories under DTA other.
3. As discussion about the source of the information and basis to allocate the utilisation of DTA period, I would like to confirm with you that my understanding is correct. Please find the detail in the attached file.
Additionally, I have some questions about the nature of tax base of 2 items,which are the loan origination cost / fee income and advance for road tax.
Loan origination cost / fee income
The loan origination cost / fee income are the dealer commission and subsidy income. By the nature of these 2 transactions, the tax method recognised as income or expense since the date of cash payment or receive. But the accounting method recorded as prepared expense / unearned revenue first, then amortised throughout the contract period. Therefore when we prepare the deferred tax asset / liability, the tax base amount of loan origination cost / fee income should be nil.
However, from the discussion with P'Kung, that there are written off in accounting since FY 2011 which impact to the tax base amount. So please kindly help me investigate the reason why it has to be written off in the past. Due to it is already paid / received cash which should not write off them.
Accrued road tax
The nature of advance for road tax is the advance payment for road tax and charge back to customers. The tax method recorded as expense when it paid and revenue when it received cash from customer. So it should not has tax base amount for deferred tax calculation. But in sheet "Temporary difference" has the tax base amount. From discussion with P'Kung, it is written off advance payment for road tax in the past. We have a question that the reason of wrote off advance for road tax and it should be separate from accrued road tax or not to make it more clear.
4. In sheet "Tax receivable", we would like to asked that the WHT receivable of 15 MB and VAT received of 18 MB are come from the WHT of which FY?
5. In sheet "Tax payable", please kindly help me revised the detail as discussed for more understanding of the reconciliation of tax payable.
6. In sheet "Tax audit status", please fill in the information in cell H16 - Open tax year of AYCAL and please revisit the answer in cell"F38" that you answered yes for the question of "were there any tax assessments as a result of the latest tax audit?". If the answer is yes for this question, please provide the information of tax assessments in table in row 44-51. If not, you can leave blank in that table.
