Results indicate that food
selection is strongly correlated with both age and presumed taste
ratings, such that as participants’ age or presumed taste ratings
increases, participants’ tendency to say that they would be willing
to eat a food also increases, r’s(70) = 0.34, 0.53, p’s < .05. However,
there was no correlation between food selection and health ratings,
r(70) .04, p > .05.
