The in-line measurements of dextrose concentration and CSD taken throughout the crystallization can be used to interpret what happened. Converting the dextrose concentration into how supersaturation varies with time is presented in Fig. 5a. Fig. 5b shows the corresponding FBRM counts per second data in the size range from 1 to 112 lm. As this is below the size of the seeds, these data can be used as an indicator of the generation of nuclei.
