Architecture
Phrathat Sriwatthananat is square in shape with a side measuring about 10 meters each. The top of pagoda was built in a Lanka bell-shaped structure. This architecture was adopted from the principal model of King Tilokkarat of Chiang Mai city that created a unique Lanna style. He combined the Burmese-Phukam style with the Lankan Bell-shaped architecture. If you have been to Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep in Chiang Mai, you will recognize the pattern.
