3.2. Effects of total thermocouples and total thermal conductance
Figs. 2 and 3 show the electrical current, cooling capacity, and COP versus the total number of thermocouples
characteristics with x D 0:8; x1 D 0:5; x2 D 0:5; f D 0:5; f1 D 0:5; f2 D 0:5 and KT D 100 W=K. One can see that
the cooling capacity is increasing function of the total number of thermocouples. Both the electrical current and COP are
decreasing functions of the total number of thermocouples. Increasing the total number of thermocouples could obviously
increase the cooling capacity. However, the COP decreases at the same time when the cooling capacity increases.
