Port Metro Vancouver
The Vancouver Fraser Port Authority, doing business as Port Metro Vancouver, is a non-shareholder, financially self-sufficient corporation, established by the Government of Canada in January 2008, pursuant to the Canada Marine Act, and accountable to the Federal Minister of Transport.
We are governed by a diverse board of directors representing government and industry, able to make independent and timely decisions on business plans and capital spending, clearly focused on the operational needs of port users and guided by a vision for long-term growth and competitiveness.
