MW-assisted preparation of nHA was found to be signifi-cantly efficient and economic . Hence, a growing interest in MW-assisted processing of biomaterials is developing a ndexpanding . Here,we will focus only on theMW- assisted processes that have reported the synthesis of pure HA in the Nano-scale for the last 25 years(from1990toMay 2015) . Doped HA or MW prepared HA in larger particle sizes or with other phases was excluded from this review. MW-assisteds in tering of nHA was also excluded.The validation of the proposed HA precipitation mechanism was inspected compared to the HA precipitation using conventional heating. The aim of the study is to better understand if there is any difference between the action mechanism between
