Vitamin E supplementation did not affect germ or
Sertoli cell populations at any measurement period.
There was a trend toward a lower number of round
spermatids with vitamin E supplementation, but the
response was not significant (P > .15). Sexual activity
or inactivity had no effect (P > .15) on the number of
Sertoli cells, spermatogonia, primary and secondary
spermatocytes, or the number of spermatids (Table 3).
