Weaving is a traditional handicraft

Weaving is a traditional handicraft which has been passed on by lao women from one genertion to another. This activity helps women to gain more income for their families. Some women do it as a hobby.
There are many steps in weaving. Firstly, all the tools are collested and prepared,then they are chosen, and the weaving to begin. Secondly,patterns and colours are chosen, and the threads are dyed in the colours needed.
