Louis van Gaal ‘desperately hunting for new striker, Thomas Muller and Harry Kane are Manchester United’s top targets’

Manchester United are reportedly desperately hunting for a new striker with Thomas Muller and Harry Kane their top transfer targets.
The Red Devils will be short on frontmen once Robin van Persie leaves the club.
Javier Hernandez is unlikely to stay at the club and have a real opportunity to challenge for a starting berth.
That leaves United with only Wayne Rooney and James Wilson as recognised first team forwards.
Wilson remains unproven and Rooney has struggled to last a full season without any injury struggles.


Muller is Louis van Gaal’s first choice but Bayern Munich would command a fee of roughly £60million, according to the Independent.
LvG also holds an interest in English striker Kane but Tottenham Hotspur would be reluctant to sell.


One thing looks fairly certain, United will need to bring in at least one more attacker to add depth to his squad.
