Crucial changes in economical and technical areas happened in recent years forced the businesses to
survive in the competitive world. Also, reducing the cost and improving the quality of goods and
services improves international market access and leads directly to increased trade between
countries. Countries trade with each other to obtain things that are better quality, less expensive or
simply different from goods and services produced at home. With the impact of globalization,
countries try to increase not only their production and consumption level but also prosperity level in
order to get a considerable role in the business life. For this reason, international trade is the most
important economic activity for both developed countries and less developed countries. In this study,
international trade and logistics are theoretically determined and the concept of logistics is
discussed.
