3.5. Perceived usefulness – satisfaction
Perceived usefulness can be defined as the extent to which a
product or service can be used by specified users to achieve
particular goals with effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction
in a specified context of use (ISO 9241-11, 1998). Satisfaction
is a more emotional response based on the previous use of digital tools (Bhattacherjee & Lin, 2014). If the teacher perceives
the digital tools as useful, meaning that he or she experiences
an improvement in the quality of his or her teaching and
improved productivity, an increased level of satisfaction is
expected.
H5. If the teacher perceives the tool as useful, this will have a
positive effect on his or her level of satisfaction.
