The WHOQOL-BREF (HK) is used to assess
quality of life and consists of 28 items covering
four domains: physical health, psychological
health, social relationships and environment.
It has satisfactory internal consistency, reliability
and construct validity. The scores for each domain
are added together and transformed to produce
transformed domain scores, which range from 0-100.
A higher score indicates a higher quality of life
(Leung et al 2005).
