This work investigated the cultivation conditions for the
fermentation of G. lucidumCCRC36124 in a shake-flask culture.
The composition of the medium was initially screened
to determine the suitable ingredients. The effects of various
operational variables, including initial pH, incubation
temperature and the rate of rotation, on the efficiency of fermentation
were examined. The composition of the medium
was then optimized by the Taguchi array method and the
steepest ascent method.
