Dear Pannapan:
This is Wu Hung again. I'm now curating a large exhibition at the YUZ Museum in Shanghai (http://www.yuzmshanghai.org/), which will open next March. I don't know if you have heard about this museum. It is really one of the most exciting new exhibition spaces in China and perhaps in the world, too. I curated the museum's inaugural exhibition earlier this year entitled Myth/History. Next exhibition will continue the same theme with new works. I feel that your style and imagination fits this theme very well. Will you be interested in participating in this exhibition?
I have two more detailed questions. (1) Is your current mural in the Bacc Bangkok Art and Culture painted directly on the wall and unmovable? Or will it be preserved and can be shown in another place? (2) If that mural is not being preserved, are you interested in creating a similar large-scale work related to mythology (it can be even larger) for the Shanghai exhibition?
Please let me know your answers to these two questions. We can then proceed from there.
Thank you for your consideration. I'm looking forward to working with you.
