SEEK MEDICAL CARE IF:
• Chills develop.
• You have an oral temperature above 102° F (38.9° C).
• Swelling around the graft or fistula gets worse.
• New pain develops.
• Unusual bleeding develops.
• Pus or other fluid (drainage) is seen at the AV access site.
• Skin redness or red streaking is seen on the skin around, above, or below the AV access.
