It is a very quiet area, a building that has a church as well as living apartments and it is on a slope. The address is accurate but most taxi drivers still need to use GPS for directions from the nearest subway station, Hongik Uni. and it takes around 5mins by driving. There was one night I tried walking by using (website hidden) map but it was a mistake and I took more than 25mins to find the way home. It is not advisable to walk instead you can opt for cheaper alternative like public buses (phone number hidden) which is like 5 stops away. If from Hongik uni. to the apartment, you need to alight outside Hotel M, cross the road and turn right, walk straight and turn left after you see maru cafe. There is a 24/7 convenient stall just downstairs and there are couple of food stores along main roads, you wont go hungry. The apartment is exactly like the photos shown and there are 3 rooms, 1 laundry cum double deck bedroom, 1 double bedroom and another largest bedroom that can sleep 3-4 people. All rooms has windows, heaters is provided on rental basis per day. Wifi, cooking facilities and washing machine are available. No lifts, only stairs, I had to climb up and down everyday, good exercise! haha! Mr hong is friendly and kind, he tried his best to communicate and taught me how to take the buses to and fro (the rest I figure out myself). I received small gesture from him like kimbap and red bean pie and it was really good! He even invited me for bbq dinner on Sunday but I had to decline due to my packed schedule. Overall, comfy beds, clean and spacious enough with hair dryer, common toilet, fridge and kitchen. Remember to bring universal adapter and multi-plug if you need to charge devices at night. Good rating of 3.5/5 for me.
