Seeds contain protein storages, such as globulins and prolamins,
whose amounts are increased during seed maturation, especially
at the mid- and late-stages of seed maturation, when seeds absorb
larger amounts of nitrogen. These proteins are located in the cell
membrane or other parts of the seed. During the time of protein
translocation into different parts of the seed, negligible amounts of
protein are turned into other products. The activation of enzymes
such as proteinase results in the mobilization of storage proteins
