No gross pathology was observed in 103 gold- fish examined. From the mean K factor, it appears that these fish were well nourished. In addition, the prevalence of parasitic infection in this species was lower (31.1%, CI 22.2-40.0%) compared to other species in the district, in par- ticular carp (66.0%, CI 58.3-73.6%) (Macchioni et al., 2015).
