What do you think ‘Holiday’ mean to you? For me I think holiday is the best time to rest or to start the thing that you never done that before or might be something that you want to do but you never have time for it. Holiday is the best time to start.
Every holiday is the same like shopping, eating, chatting with friends, dating with boyfriend or girlfriend, or stay home and sleep for all day. But this time I have done something that I never try before is to go out and study for whole day. I am already sixteen years old and going to seventeen in a month. And only one year left to prepare about the test for the university. So I choose to go study than going to shopping with my friends. I should start it now. So i have more time that other people. I control myself by making my own schedule. And it is a good start for me that I start to thinking about my future better and take more time for it but I also have time for rest and having fun with my family also.
This holiday is on my best friend birthday also. So we have been decided to making our own birthday cake last year but we did not done it because we do not have time. But this year is a perfect time to done it! She came to my house in the morning and we went to buy the stuff together. We decided to do the ‘Unicorn Cake’. Unicorn Cake is just a vanilla rainbow cake but it is very big so we have to use at least two people to make it. And we have a lot of fun about the food color because the color is spreaded around the table. Finally we finished it and it is very perfect Unicorn Cake and sure, it is yummy. And also because of the food color we have to clean the kitchen by ourselves and it is the first time! because normally I have my mate but today she went out with my grandmother to help her buy some stuff for dinner. So we have to clean it before my mom and dad reached home. First time that I thought cleaning is not that bad.
Lastly, this holiday is very fun for me and also it is good for me that I start to care about myself by go out and study or prepare get ready about my future. I have time with myself so I understand myself better and when I understand I start to do it in this little holiday. I think I spend this holiday very valuable. Thank you holiday.
