Pregnant Thai women with GDM A1 in the intervention group had
significantly lower fasting, postprandial blood glucose, and hemoglobin A1c than those in the control group. Mean fasting blood glucose in
the intervention and control group was 83.39 (SD = 17.69) and 85.85
(SD = 17.94) mg/dL) (p= 0.012). Mean postprandial blood glucose
in the intervention and control group was 105.67 (SD = 12.93) and
112.36 (SD = 13.15) mg/dL (p= 0.001). Mean hemoglobin A1c in
the intervention and control group was 5.23% (SD = 0.72) and 5.68%
(SD = 0.68) (p= 0.038) (Table 2)
