source of world buffalo milk, with a world population of
1.5108. Water buffaloes include river and swamp types.
River buffaloes accounted for 65% of the above population,
from which 92% of all buffalo milk was produced in 1982.
Predominant buffalo concentrations are in India and Pakistan
[12]. Europe’s annual production of buffalo milk has
the world’s fastest-growing rate, being 6.8% in Italy in
1998/1999. Italy produced 1.2105 t of buffalo milk,
