Despite these advantages, ATP has not found extensive industrial
application. One of the reasons is that it’s difficult to recover
the phase-forming polymers from the aqueous phase containing
extract [2,3]. As a result, the residual polymer in aqueous solution
reduces the purity of products and increases the operational
cost. Various methods have been developed to deal with the issue,
including centrifugation [12], electrophoresis [13], and precipitation
by organic solvent [14], as well as pH-sensitive copolymer
[15,16] and temperature-sensitive copolymer [17–19].
