Mr. Chawat Trangadisaikul
Managing Director
BANGKOK METROPOLIS MOTOR CO., LTD.
Dear Mr. Chawat Trangadisaikul and Ms.Wanwimon Phongthadaporn
Greetings from Tokyo.
I am Jun Matsuyama (Mr.) from SME Support, JAPAN.
I was in charge of the business meetings between five Thai TOYOTA suppliers and Japanese companies in May. I would like to know whether the businesses with Japanese companies make progress since then.
In addition, we have received a request from a journalist of Nippon Keizai Shimbun (Nikkei Inc.) for interviewing your company in Thailand between October 1 and 3. If you can accept his request, could you please contact Mr. Fujimura (a journalist’s name) directly, or introduce a contact person to us in order to have him contact your company?
The following is a request from him:
***************************
I am a writer in charge of Japanese automotive industry. I am now preparing stories on auto-suppliers in emerging markets like Thailand.
As it is widely known, Japanese OEM is increasing car production in Thailand. They try to reduce cost by procuring local components, and I hear that local suppliers are gaining presence.
Through my article, I would like to illustrate how local supplier is gaining presence. What do you think is your company's strength compared to others? What do you do to improve your quality?
I would like to ask several questions. I hope that you will accept our request.
