from the van der Waals force produced by the liquid–solid interface
between the water droplet and the coated substrate [36]. The
unmodified silica film shows strong adhesion with the water
droplet, and the water droplet can slide off the coated substrate by
gravity at sliding angle of 428 and the maximum frictional force
required to slide off the water droplet fromthe surface is 65.57 mN.
However, for the iso-BTMS modified silica films (M = 0.965), the
adhesion between water droplet and the film surface is weak. As a
result, the water droplet can roll off the tilted substrate (SA = 168)
