Independent study in this Cross-sectional survey Research. The purpose of this study aimed to evaluate the prevalence and factors associated with risk of asthma of farmers tobacco, Virginia tobacco at Amphoe Ban Phaeng Nakhon Phanom Province. The sample is farmers grow tobacco, Virginia tobacco at Amphoe Ban Phaeng Nakhon Phanom Province all 158 people. The study of personal factors, knowledge factors, the use of chemicals factors and work factors. Data collection was used by the questionnaire. Data analysis was used to Descriptive Statistics using by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Chi-Square and Odds Ratio have Level of significance 0.05. The results of the study were as follows farmers tobacco, Virginia tobacco at Amphoe Ban Phaeng Nakhon Phanom Province the prevalence rate is at a higher risk of asthma of 7 people or 4.43 percent. The factors associated with risk of asthma namely Age (x^2= 4.446, P= 0.03) Time active farmers use chemical pesticides (year) (x^2= 9.249, P = 0.002) Farmers or family have ever defeated pesticides (x^2 = 18.829, P = 0.004) Unusual symptoms after farmers use pesticides or touch the pesticides in around 1 month (x^2= 4.592, P = 0.032) Time active farmers career of tobacco growers (x^2= 9.249, P = 0.002) From the results of this study indicated that personnel important role in health should be given priority in development and encouraging farmers to take care of the risk of developing asthma. To help the farmers are capable of living and career as is efficiency.
