Biogas compositions of each zone in the integrated twophase
anaerobic reactor were monitored on the 30th day.
There were mainly CO2 and H2 in the zone I (CO2 53%, H2
25%, methane 12%). Methane was the main component of
all samples in the zone II which ranged from 53% to 59% with
an average of 55%. The methane content in biogas increased
from the zone I to II. It indicated that the methane-producing
capacity of the anaerobic sludge increased.
