1. hotel should assign a separate desk and space for groups to check in, this hotel has about 1000 rooms,and 40% group guests, it`s a big number, and it`s hard to keep things in order in lobby at peak time without doing this. hotel may prepare some chairs and even some drinks for group guests at the assigned space. and a better way is to communicate well with travel agent ,many things can be done upon check-in,like all registrations can be down on buses of group guests, and some times keys can be issued on the bus too. More preparation , faster checking-in. (same to FIT)
