These pictures were sent around to our local ASSE Group.
It seems that the JLG lift topped when some grating gave away.
The grating was old but was supposedly rated for more than the weight of the lift. It obviously failed (and they don’t know why when these pictures were sent around).
The worker was tossed around when the lift tumbled, but had a harness on that was properly attached. He broke his nose during the tumble but his life was saved because he didn’t fall to the ground.
What lessons can you learn from this non-fatal accident?
