The Company has to estimate its severance payment obligation under Thai labor law and recognize these in its accounts in accordance with IAS 19. The Company is required by Thai labor law to make severance payment to employees who leave employment at their retirement age or are terminated by the Company without cause. The payments range from one to ten months’ basic salary, based on the length of service. The Company has engaged the actuary from a famous university in Thailand to estimate the employee expense since the previous year. For the year-end audit, we will review appropriateness of the assumption and the accuracy of information of employees.
