All four compounds reduced the discharge of zoospores at the
concentrations which had shown infection inhibiting capacity in
the seedling experiment (Table 2). While the fungicides reduced
zoospore release almost completely at the highest concentration,
BABA still allowed 23% zoospore release at 200 mg/mL (control 51%).
The subsequent developmental processes of encystment appeared
not to be specifically affected, but rather a consequence of the
