•Central Nervous System (CNS)
Brain and spinal cord receives and processes information.
•Peripheral Nervous System (PNS)
Neurons that transmit messages to an organ or carry information from a sensory organ are said to innervate that organ.
•Divisions:
•a. Afferent
• Provides information about the somatic senses; special, and visceral senses.
•b. Efferent
• Sends out commands to effector organs (muscles and glands).
